Week 9 College Football Preview

Happy Halloween everyone! Althugh it's Halloween and you might be trick-or-treating, don't come to my door tonight! I will be way too busy watching tons of great College Football to get up. Although I previewed today's SEC games yesterday, I want to get to all the other great games today. Enjoy!

Purdue @ Wisconsin- Purdue has been on fire as of late, beating Ohio State and Illinois, trying to get back to a bowl game. But Wisconsin has been reeling lately, losing their last two to Ohio State and Iowa. But don't expect this to be any contest. I mean come on, It's Halloween in Madison. Wisconsin wins, 34-28

Indiana @ Iowa- Belive it or not, this just might be a good game. Indiana has already given Michigan all they've got and almost won at Northwestern last week, losing in the final seconds. Iowa has had alot of very lucky games this year and they have struggled against really bad teams (Northern Iowa, Arkansas State). Indiana will give them a good fight, but Iowa will prevail, 24-12.

Texas @ Oklahoma State- This is one of the biggest games in Oklahoma State history. Texas is undefeated and after struugling through the first half of the year, They finally went into Missouri and pounded them. After their stunning upset to Houston, Oklahoma State has killed everyone, but the best team they faced was Missouri. Oklahoma State also gets Kendall Hunter back tonight. Last year, on this day, Texas was shocked in Lubbock and I expect the same tonight, Oklahoma State winning, 30 -24

Kansas @ Texas Tech- This is a battle between last year's cindarella and 2007's cindarella here. Sadly, Both have reached new lows this season. Kansas has lost to Colorado and got blown out at home to Oklahoma, while Texas Tech got Blown out by Texas A&M. It wil be a good game but Kansas will win, 48-32

Missouri @ Colorado- Missouri has played awful their last three games while Colorado has upset Kansas. I expect this to be a good game, but Missouri will win, 38-24.

Iowa State @ Texas A&M- Surprisingly, both teams are doing well. Especially at QB. A&M's Jerod Johnson has put up great numbers so far, but so has Iowa State's Austin Arnaud. Iowa State had a great win at Nebraska last week, but their offense needs to start scoring some TD's if they want to win. Texas A&M showed just the opposite last week. Their offense looked great while their defense stunk. Iowa State holds them off, 10-7.

Miami @ Wake Forest- Miami absolutely must win this game today against a really bad Wake Forest team. If they don't win, they pretty much lose any shot at making the ACC Championship. Miami gets it done 34-3.

Central Michigan @ Boston College- Believe it or not, this is my ACC game of the week. I mean Central Michigan is the most underrated team in all of College Football. Dan Lefevour has been putting up some of the best stats in the nation and he is getting no Heisman attention. Central Mihigan will move to 8-1 after they beat Boston College, 31-28.

Duke @ Virginia- Surprisingly, this game might mean something this year. Both teams have started to win after weak starts. I will go with the upset, Duke 24-17.

USC @ Oregon- ESPN got College GameDay there for one of the games of the week. Both teams had tough losses at the start of the season and this game will determine the frontrunner to win the Pac-10. I say Oregon, 40-34.

Well, that's all I have time for today. Enjoy your Halloween!

Week 9 SEC Preview

Hey everyone! This is my first Blog post, so please tell me how I'm doing. As we go into Week 9, we have a lot of crucial games for teams. Enjoy!

Florida vs. Georgia- Once again we have another huge game in the SEC. Florida tries to stay undefeated after yet another struggle this time to Mississippi State. Tim Tebow should be 100 %, but will he play like it? If Florida wants to win, They must get out to a fast start like last year and never look back. Also, their defense must coninue to be solid. If Georgia wants to win, A.J. Green must step up and have a huge day. They also need to have a huge game from Richard Samuel since the only weak spot in Florida's D is the running game. It should be a good game, but in the end, Florida will pull away, 41-37.

Tulane @ LSU- LSU dominated Auburn last week. Expect the same here. There is absolutely no way LSU will lose this game, so they will win 44-7

Ole Miss @ Auburn- Ole Miss has had a Roller Coaster season so far, losing to South Carolina and Alabama. They looked sharp vs. Arkansas last week too. Auburn is going downhill fast after losing 3 straight to Arkansas, Kentucky, and LSU. Both teams are looking for Bowl eligibility this week too. Auburn's D must step up this week if they want to stay in this one. Ole Miss will win, but only by 7, 24-17.

South Carolina @ Tennessee- This is a huge game for both teams here. South Carolina has struggled in their last 3 games while Tennessee has looked really good in theirs. Expect to see to 2 high octane offenses vs. 2 rock solid defenses. Tennessee needs this game if they want to go to a bowl game, but South Carolina will pull off the upset, 28-27.

Eatern Michigan @ Arkansas- 0-7 MAC team vs. 3-4 SEC team. Say no more, Arkansas, 48-0

Mississippi State @ Kentucky- Mississippi State gave Florida a huge scare last week in Starkville while all UK did against them was send Tebow to the hospital. But UK is on the rise, winning at Auburn. Randall Cobb has been unstopable under the Wildcat formation, while Anthony Dixon has also been really good. Mississippi State has scared LSU and Florida at home, but their only 2 road wins were at Vanderbilt and Middle Tennessee State. UK can easily make a bowl game with their remaining schedule, maybe even a New Years day bowl, but they must win on Saturday. UK 40- msu 34.

So, thanks for reading and I look forward to doing more posts.
