Week 11 SEC Preview

Howdy everyone! Boy, what an important week of College Football in the SEC! Anything could happen, but why keep rambling when I could be previewing. Enjoy!

Florida @ South Carolina- This game has been on both team's calendars for a while now. Even if South Carolina has lost two straight, this promises to be a good game. Florida has began to look better, especially on defense. Tim Tebow is definately 100% now, and Brandon Spikes is returning from a one game suspension, so Florida's D should be even better. I expect one heck of a barnburner, with Florida barely escaping, 30-27.

Louisiana Tech @ LSU- Believe it or not, this game just might be on Upset alert. LSU gave Alabama everything they had, and still came up short. Louisiana Tech also played an undefeated team this weekend, Boise State. They also gave Boise 110% and still came up short. If this game was at Louisiana Tech, They might have had a shot, but since it's not, I'm going with LSU, 34-3.

Alabama @ Mississippi State- This game poses to be a big threat to Alabama's quest for perfection. Mississippi State got a very convenient bye week after upsetting Kentucky two weeks ago, and now Dan Mullen will have draw up the same gameplan that he used last year with Florida. Expect a runningback matchup for the ages between Anthony Dixon and Mark Ingram. It will be a great game, but Alabama will prevail,
12-6. I didn't say it would be high scoring. I mean, it's ALABAMA!!!!

Tennessee @ Ole Miss- This is a huge game for Tennessee. If tyhey win, they are bowl eligeble, and if they lose, they fall to 5-5. Tennessee will probably beat Vanderbilt or Kentucky, if not both, and get 6 or 7 wins. But if they win at Ole Miss, they might have a shot at a New Years Day bowl game. Ole Miss needs a signature win, and Tennessee would do that for them. They also still have a shot at playing on New Years Day, too. But, if they lose, those hopes are all but over. I expect a shootout, with Ole Miss winning, 51-34. Yeah, that high scoring.

Auburn @ Georgia- Two years ago, Georgia was a team on the rise with Knowshawn Moreno, and Auburn was a team on the dissent with Tommy Tuberville still coaching the Tigers. Georgia had unveiled their Black jerseys for the first time, and Georgia got the win. Oh, how times have changed. Georgia is now on the dissent while Auburn is slowly but surely rising up under Gene Chizik. Georgia has now lost 3 straight Blackouts and 3 out of their last 4 SEC games. I doubt Georgia can beat Georgia Tech, and the Kentucky game isn't a sure win, so this game could determine their bowl eligibility. But in the end, Auburn will win this game, 24-12.

Kentucky @ Vanderbilt- Oh how this game has hardly any meaning for Vanderbilt, saying they cannot go to a bowl game, and maybe the biggest game of ther year for Kentucky. UK is looking for their 4th straight bowl game, and they only need one more win to clinch it. With Georgia and Tennessee coming up, this might be their only shot. And they are trying to avenge a home loss on Senior night last year to the dores, who got their bowl eligebility there last year. Morgan Newton needs to have a much better 2nd half than 2 weeks ago against Mississippi State if he wants to continue playing. I also expect to see a big day from Randall Cobb in the Wildcat Formation. UK will fight hard on Saturday, and win, 31-24. (If that is the final score, then it would be the 3rd year in a row that would be the final score)

Troy @ Arkansas- Do not be surprised if Troy takes them to the wire on Saturday. Troy has dominated the sun Belt this year, and has only lost 2 games, including one to Florida. Troy will keep it close, but thanks to Michael Smith, Arkansas will hold on, 35-28.

So, enjoy this weekend of football and I will try to get the rest of the game previews in later this week, so until then, See y'all!
